Wayfull ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Wayfull app.
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password.
Grocery lists: We store the grocery lists and items you create in the app, including item names and aisle information.
Location data: With your permission, we access your device's location to detect when you arrive at a nearby grocery store. Location data is used only in real time and is not stored on our servers.
We use the information we collect to:
Supabase: We use Supabase to store your account information and grocery lists securely. Supabase is SOC 2 compliant. Learn more at supabase.com/privacy.
Kroger API: We use the Kroger API to retrieve product aisle information for your local store. No personal information is shared with Kroger.
Anthropic Claude API: We use Claude to parse recipe ingredients when you use the recipe import feature. Only the ingredient text you paste is sent — no personal information is shared.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which uses industry-standard encryption. Your password is never stored in plain text. We use Row Level Security to ensure you can only access your own data.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We only share data with the third-party services listed above, which are necessary to operate the app.
When you share a grocery list using a share code, the recipient can view and add items to that list. Only people you explicitly share your code with can access your shared lists.
Wayfull requests access to your location only while the app is in use ("When In Use" permission). Location data is used solely to detect nearby Kroger-family stores and is never stored on our servers or shared with third parties.
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at privacy@wayfull.app. We will delete your data within 30 days of your request.
Wayfull is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
